Action's newest task force, formalized at our annual Nehemiah public assembly in October 2018, strategies are being developed to secure alternatives to incarceration in sentencing as well as increase education and resources for returning citizens.
This task force is emerging alongside our existing work with Michigan Power to Thrive. We welcome community partners and individuals to engage in this work with us.
The task force's first meeting with be Thursday, November 8th 2018 at Union Missionary Baptist Church (500 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Lansing, MI)
