Organizes for access and inclusion for all, including seniors, veterans, and people with physical, intellectual, and psychological challenges.

Engaging with partners, including Ingham County Health Department, Northwest Initiative and the CATA bus system to improve the availability of testing for minorities, health care, and improving access to food during this pandemic.

CHEA addresses disparities in healthcare access for children in the Lansing community. CHEA organizes with Sparrow and the MSU Colleges of Human Medicine and Osteopathic Medicine to hire more local pediatric sub-specialty physicians to provide local care for chronically ill children in the Lansing area. CHEA also is advocating for a local site to house all of MSU and Sparrow’s sub-specialty children’s clinics in one place. CHEA works with the Davies Project for Mid-Michigan Children to support their efforts to provide round trip rides to medical appointments for children facing serious health challenges.

Action CRI works with organizations across the nation to reform America's immigration laws and ensure civil rights for all people, native born and immigrant. From informational conferences to press conferences and rallies, CRI works to ensure that the 7.6% of families in Lansing who are immigrants have a voice locally and nationally. Action member congregations are leaders in the Sanctuary Network in Michigan. Action and CRI oppose the separation of families.

Securing alternatives to incarceration in sentencing as well as increasing education and resources for returning citizens

We are interested in being faithful people working toward networking and discovering the ways in which environmental injustices are and have been occurring to people. We want to gather our people together to help resolve these injustices for our community.
